Whoops!
The quick reference sheet released recently had an error in the Palace Wall rule section.
This made the rule less intuitive and also hampered the defenders more than desired. It also violated the rules as written and has been brought in line with the rules as written and intended.
Also, the rulebook was expanded slightly. No serious rules were changed; however, the Illegal Movement rules were brought in line with traditional chess rules. More or less.
The Touch Move rule was also added. Touch a piece and you have to move it!
If you use that rule.
It’s optional.
