A quick side note before we begin. My instinct would be to use “forwards” instead of “forward.” Certain so-called experts say that the plural version is British English instead of American English. As I am on the west end of the pond, singular it is.
The government thinks I live in Alaska. My heart remains there, but my body has been roaming the lower forty eight for a good while now. Just recently I’ve spent time in Kansas, Florida, Illinois, and Kentucky. That latter state is where I am headed to next, for a bout as a part time bookstore keeper.
Louisville is a good opportunity to explore my skills. I have had some success selling my chokers there, and there are ample Bohemian coffee shops inside which I shall write.
This blog post is being made on my phone, but for writing I use a tablet and a keyboard. My priorities being what they are, my keyboard cost more than my tablet!
In case you’re curious, the keyboard is a HyperX Alloy FPS with Cherry MX Red switches. I love it.
The tablet is an RCA Cambio. It fulfils my criteria; a Windows tablet with a full size usb port and not a lot of power.
Rainymood.com and LibreOffice fill up the darn thing’s memory. That means it’s hard to get distracted from writing!
I may write a review or two as practice. I aim to constantly improve my craft, which includes reviews. Along with instructions, fiction, translating academia into layperson-speak, and even letters to implore the stern-hearted.
